The Collegiate Ministry at Swartz First Baptist is like most college students: growing and
changing. And that growth is guided by our churchs mission of Developing
Devoted Disciples. But that statement is more than a slogan. Its our goal as
we provide students and young professionals a place to grow in their relationship with
Jesus Christ.
Were discovering what a devoted disciple is and how God would have us
live. Were deepening our worship of the Lord. Were telling others what God has
done for us and for them. And God is making Himself real to us.
So, how do you get involved? Its pretty easy actually
Just show up!
...On Sundays. We have two worship services to choose from, depending on your
sleeping habits. The early worship kicks off at 8:00 a.m. for those who rise early. The
late service begins at 10:45 a.m. for those who need a little more sleep. You need to know
that both services are the same, with blended worship that leans contemporary and rock
solid, exegetical preaching. But dont forget our Collegiate Bible Study at 9:30 a.m.
in our Music Suite, which is sandwiched between our two worship services.
...On Wednesdays. A meal is served on the first Wednesday of each month free for
college students from 5:00-6:10 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall. Just give your name and phone
number to the person taking up money, tell them you are a college student and your meal is
free. Hang around for our Fresh Word Worship from 6:30-7:40 p.m. in our Worship Center.
Our praise band leads dynamic worship each week before a powerful
message from Gods
Word that will stir your mind and spirit.
Now what If you are running too late for breakfast? Dont worry about it because
well serve breakfast and juice along with Bible study. The Bible is our textbook as
we study and discuss its relevance to our everyday lives. If you are a university
student (undergrad or grad) or college-age in the work force, visit Swartz First Baptist.
Were ready for you.
