The Music Ministry of Swartz First Baptist is vibrant and growing, but just teaching songs and musical skills is not our purpose. Worshiping God is our purpose.

We’ve learned that worship is more than what style of music we sing or what traditions we observe in a service. Worship is about honoring God, thanking Him for salvation, and expressing our love for Him and to Him.

So worship is much more than music in a service. … it’s a lifestyle in which we honor God in everything we do everyday. Swartz First Baptist members are encouraged to worship God by how they live their lives.

We also encourage God-honoring worship through preaching, prayer, music, drama, video and testimonies in our worship services. We blend traditional hymns with joyful praise and worship songs that allow us to express our love to the Lord and bring us into His presence.

Because many people share their God-given talents, we provide a praise band for our worship services on Wednesday night and Sunday morning, a Praise Team of singers, a Celebration Choir, Senior Adult Choir, Handbells performance group, and age-graded music for our children on Wednesdays and Sunday nights.
