Jeff Smart, Pastor 
Jeff Smart is the latest addition to the ministry staff, beginning his service as Pastor in August of 2008. Jeff has served as Pastor most recently at First Baptist Church in Crossett, Arkansas. He has served several churches in Louisiana and has been a full-time evangelist. Jeff completed a Bachelors degree Pastoral Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993. Jeff and his wife, Susan, have four children.

Ron Thomas, Minister of Education & Senior Adults 
Ron joined the Swartz FBC staff in August of 2006. A Natchitoches, Louisiana native he has served several churches in the state. He received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Nachitoches and his Master of Arts in Religous Education from Southwestern Baptist Thelogical Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Jeslynn, have two (mostly) grown children.

Sherrie Tyler, Music Interim 
Mrs. Sherrie Tyler is currently assisting by leading worship and choir rehearsal. Sherrie is a teacher at Neville High School in Monroe and has been a member of Swartz FBC and the choir for 20 years. Her husband, Gary, operates sound on Sunday mornings. They have two children.
