Swartz First Baptist Church, like most churches, relies heavily upon volunteers. With the help and direction of the paid ministry staff, volunteers teach Bible studies, sing in the choir, serve as greeters, and fill such a variety of positions and needs that it is difficult to list them all here.

1 Peter 4:10 says that "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (NIV). God gives each believer spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities that He intends for them to use in serving others. Our goal as we "Develop Devoted Disciples" is that every member of Swartz FBC discover their God-given giftedness and use it in service to God and others.
