Our Team
Jarrett joined our staff in July 2022. He is a Monroe/West Monroe native. Jarrett has been in ministry for 15 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Expository Preaching from Dallas Theological Seminary. In addition to his work in vocational ministry, Jarrett has served as an adjunct instructor at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary extension center in Monroe. He has served on many teams in the Northeast Louisiana Baptist Association and as an executive staff member for Cross Camp. He is also the host of Life on the Ouachita Podcast.
Jarrett and his wife Lauren have two boys, Jude and Riggs. Jarrett loves Jesus, his family, the church and bowhunting!
Jay joined our staff in January 2021. Jay is originally from West Monroe and is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jay has served in a variety of roles from student ministry to discipleship, men, singles ministry, missions to community outreach at churches in Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia. He has 36 years of ministry experience.
At Swartz, Jay is responsible for adult ministry, family ministry, and outreach.
He and his wife, Cindy, have a son, three daughters, two son in laws, daughter in law, and 2 grandsons.
Scarlyte joined our staff in June of 2017. Scarlyte is originally from Tallahassee, Florida. She attended Florida State University and Grand Canyon University. Scarlyte served on staff with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Florida in the area of youth and evangelism. She has also served on church staff in Florida and Alabama for 26 years in preschool, children, and family ministry.
At Swartz, she is responsible for preschool and children’s ministry. She is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with children, empowering and equipping parents and leaders to reach the next generation. She and her husband, Troy, have three daughters and two sons. Troy is a rebate coordinator with Berry Global.
Neill joined our staff in July 2019. He is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe and has been a worship leader and Music Minister for a number of years. Neill also is an owner/agent with Goosehead Insurance.
At Swartz, he is responsible for music in worship, and audio/visual. His wife, Danielle, is a Homeschool Mom of their 4 kids. We are very excited to have the Roshto's on our team!
Karlee joined our staff in January 2017 as a staff assistant and quickly won our hearts with her servants heart and diligent work ethic. She now serves as our Office Manager, overseeing office administration, financial stewardship and serving as our Pastor's Assistant.
Karlee is Mom to two daughters and is the glue to our team.
Jennifer joined our staff in March 2020 to assist our kids, student, and worship ministries. She has a heart for ministry, especially with women.
She is married to Jeff and they have two children.
